The Geoplanet Doctoral School
Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center is part of the Geoplanet Doctoral School. The school was founded on January 23, 2019, by seven institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, including the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (the leading institute), along with the Center for Theoretical Physics, Institute of Geography and Spatial Organisation, Institute of Geology, Institute of Geophysics, Institute of Oceanology, and Space Research Center. On October 1, 2022, the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute became the eighth institute to join the School.
