DESCRIPTION:Summer Student Program 2026\nFollowing our successful practice
in previous years\, the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center will orga
nize the Summer Student Program this year in a hybrid format. This means t
hat students will have the opportunity to work on their projects on-site a
t the CAMK institute.\nAccommodation may be available in Warsaw dormitorie
s\, subject to availability. The exact form of collaboration is determined
by the project supervisor and specified in the project description. For o
n-site participation\, the supervisor is expected to be available in perso
 n. An online-only format is also possible.\nWe invite applications from 2n
d-\, 3rd-\, and 4th-year undergraduate students in physics or astronomy. I
n exceptional cases\, we may also accept younger students and students fro
m technical universities.\nThe duration of each individual program should
be 4–6 weeks. Suggested project topics are listed below. If you are inte
rested in participating in the online-only format\, please contact the sel
ected scientist directly via the email address provided to arrange the det
ails.\nFor on-site participation\, please first contact the supervisor to
agree on the exact timing and duration of the project. Then submit your ap
plication\, including the supervisor’s name\, the planned dates of the p
roject\, and your academic CV.\nThe application deadline is May 31\, 2026.
Successful candidates will be notified by email. Please note that on-site
participation is limited to EU citizens only.\n \nExplore Available Proj
